Avast Support: Disable Avast Antivirus at Startup

If your computer is taking too long to start then there might be the problem with its antivirus program that starts loading with other startup applications when your system boots up. Open the command box. For this, hit the start button and type “Run” in the search box and click when it appears. Or simply press “Window + R” key on your keyboard.
The command window will be prompted, type “msconfig.exe” in the box and press “Enter”. It will take you to the system configuration window.
Choose the “Startup” option there and hit the “Startup items” from the given options; you will get the list of applications there which loads while computer boots up.
Spot the antivirus program from the list or look for the program which is similar to the “ashDisp.exe”, uncheck the box next to this program to prevent it from running at the startup.
Save the changes by clicking on “Apply” and then click “Ok” to close the window. Restart your computer, check whether the same issues exist or not, if it continues then there might be another issue.
